When the speed and load both are small the transmission of power and motion between the two shafts are conducted by bevel gears.
In various automobile applications like vehicle differential drives, hypoid bevel gears are used.
For the key mechanism of hand drill, bevel gears are used.
Spiral bevel gears are used in sewing machines.
